Barrett seeking worthy nominations for Diamond Jubilee Medal program

Simcoe – In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne, MPP Toby Barrett is seeking input from the community for the Diamond Jubilee Medal program.

“As an MPP I have the opportunity to nominate up to 14 people from Haldimand-Norfolk,” Barrett said. “So I am asking for the assistance of all those who are involved in their communities to submit names of worthy individuals.”

Keep in mind that worthy candidates should 1) have helped build the Canada of today 2) have distinguished themselves from others in their field by their achievements and sustained contributions 3) be highly respected in their community 4) represent the demographics of Haldimand-Norfolk
