QUEEN’S PARK – Dignitaries, politicians and perhaps royalty will be enjoying a glass of Burning Kiln 2013 Strip Room after the Norfolk red wine was chosen as the Ontario Legislature’s official red wine for 2015.
This is the second time Strip Room has been chosen for this honour. It was chosen the first week of November during The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly’s wine tasting reception.
“This is quite an honour that Burning Kiln was again chosen by MPPs – they got my vote,” Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Toby Barrett said. “This is further proof Norfolk County is a growing wine region and producing top-quality grapes and wine.”
