SIMCOE – Agriculture issues will be front and center at an Agricultural Issues Forum sponsored by the Haldimand Federation of Agriculture.
Slated for Saturday, March 25 at noon, the afternoon will feature a light lunch catered by Shelly’s. It will be held at the Haldimand Agricultural hall in Kohler. Anyone wanting to attend should RSVP to Bruce Armstrong at 905-772-0472.
“Here at HFA and OFA your issues are our issues, let’s hear about them,” said Armstrong, president of the Haldimand Federation of Agriculture. “Let’s set a grass roots direction for our governmental leadership.”
Guest speakers and panelists for the day include Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Toby Barrett, Opposition Critic for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thomspon, Opposition Critic for International Trade; Haldimand Councillor and area farmer Leroy Bartlett and Ontario Federation of Agriculture President Keith Currie.
